For decades, urban drivers faced an uncompromising tradeoff: buy a nimble, city-friendly vehicle that caps out at five passengers, or upgrade to a hulking three-row SUV or minivan that makes tight parking spaces, narrow parking garages, and parallel parking an absolute chore.
